You will create two (2) advertisements for your company. One will be a horizontal third (9.75″ W x 4.75″ H). The other will be a vertical third (4.75″ W x 9.69″ H). The two ads will be in two very different publications. One should be built in black and white for a newspaper; the other should be full color for a slick. It’s your company, so decide which orientation best fits your needs in this situation.

I would like to see included with your ads a short write-up telling me which publications your ads will appear in (i.e.: Horizontal - USA Today - B&W / Vertical - Rolling Stone - Color). Of course, your design should reflect the audience of the publication as well as your stated marketing goals for the product/service you are selling. Be sure to also consider the overall concept of branding as we have discussed it in class.

This will be an all digital assignment, but you may consider doing this at a higher resolution for your portfolio in the future.
